A large, mostly cone-shaped conifer with luminous, greyish-blue needles from 2 to 2,5 cm in length, placed spirally along the longer branches and gathered together in thick rosettes on the shorter branches. It produces initially green cones up to 10 cm in length, which turn light-brown later on.
