A very fast-growing variety of bamboo. Its foliage has the typical brightgreen colour. The canes reach a diameter of 1 to 1,5 cm and are from green to yellow to orange coloured. The new foliage becomes tinged with pink or red if exposed to sunlight. It is highly resistant to low temperatures.
