Perennial bulbous plant with green deciduous leaves, with streaks tending towards blue-grey. At the end of spring, a rich inflorescence composed of around 100 flowers. This takes on a characteristic and showy circular shape with a diameter of 15-20 cm and is of a beautiful purple colour.
